Welcome to our new site!

We are delighted to announce the running of the Birdingbury Country show this year on the 10th and 11th of July 2010.

Keep up to date with all our announcements here. We will aim to keep this blog updated with all the progress and new announcements!

The Show will be a two-day event with the main objective being to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease. A member of Southam Rugby Club, Simon Adams, was diagnosed with the disease late last year and, although his condition is terminal, it is his wish to raise £1 million so that one day a cure may be found. Simon is a truly inspirational character who has touched the lives of many. More of his story can be found at www.Fatherabraham.co.uk.

Wow – Country Show looks fantastic. What a brillaint cause. You are running an event for exactly the right reasons; selflessly and honestly. I hope you get lots of support for an inspirational young man and the Motor Neurone Disease charity.

Hi, unfortunately due to a few residents in the village we had to move away from using the streets this year. Hopefully, with enough support we can resume this aspect in future years. We are however using an additonal large field this year to get it all in! I really hope you can still come along. Here is a link to a BBC radio interview I did this morning talking about the show and the charity it is supporting. http://beta.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p008lpdy/Annie_Othen_06_07_2010

    Best wishes
